📋 Description

• As an AI Engineer at SonarSource, you will be at the forefront of our internal AI transformation, playing a pivotal role in leveraging artificial intelligence to revolutionize our operational efficiency and amplify productivity across various departments. • You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities where AI can make a significant impact, from streamlining workflows to automating repetitive tasks and providing intelligent insights. • A core aspect of your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions. This includes working with large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP) techniques, and machine learning algorithms to build intelligent agents capable of understanding context, performing complex reasoning, and interacting with various systems.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to understand their needs and translate them into effective AI-driven solutions. This collaborative approach ensures that the AI tools and agents you develop are not only technically sound but also practically valuable and seamlessly integrated into existing workflows.
• Your responsibilities will extend to the full stack of AI development, encompassing data preprocessing, model training and fine-tuning, API development, and the creation of user-friendly interfaces for these AI agents. This end-to-end involvement guarantees that the solutions are robust, scalable, and easy for our internal teams to adopt and utilize.
• You will be tasked with automating complex internal processes that currently require significant manual effort. This could involve anything from automating report generation and data analysis to intelligent document processing and sophisticated workflow orchestration, freeing up valuable human resources for more strategic initiatives.
• A key focus will be on amplifying the productivity of our internal teams. By developing AI assistants and tools, you will empower developers, operations staff, and other professionals to perform their tasks more efficiently, reduce toil, and focus on higher-value activities.
• You will actively research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and methodologies to ensure SonarSource remains at the forefront of AI innovation. This includes staying abreast of the latest advancements in LLMs, generative AI, and agent-based systems.
• You will contribute to the development of best practices and standards for AI development and deployment within SonarSource, ensuring consistency, reliability, and ethical considerations are addressed.
• Your work will involve integrating AI capabilities into existing internal systems and platforms, requiring a strong understanding of software architecture and integration patterns.
• You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of deployed AI models and agents, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary updates and optimizations.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models and solutions, particularly with large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python, and experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with full-stack development, including backend frameworks and API development, to integrate AI models into practical applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical AI solutions.
