- • Own the AI-Enhanced Search (AEO) strategy across major AI answer engines including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews to position Modern Treasury as the authoritative source on payment infrastructure.
- • Map and optimize Modern Treasury’s digital presence across the full ecosystem of LLM-ingested platforms such as HackerNews, Reddit, G2, TrustRadius, and YouTube to increase citation weight and AI-driven discoverability.
- • Define and own the topic cluster and authority map for core categories: payment orchestration, PSP architecture, ACH and RTP infrastructure, stablecoin rails, ledger systems, reconciliation, embedded payments, sub-account systems, and multi-rail money movement.
- • Build high-impact evaluation content for technical and operational buyers, including build-vs-buy frameworks, comparison pages, architecture guides, and implementation patterns that address real-world infrastructure decisions.
- • Partner with founders, executives, and engineering subject matter experts to translate product updates, market shifts, and technical innovations into authoritative, search-optimized content.
- • Own end-to-end SEO and AEO performance analytics, linking organic traffic trends and content performance directly to pipeline generation and revenue outcomes.
- • Collaborate with a dedicated design engineer to establish and enforce technical SEO standards, including schema markup, structured data, and site architecture optimizations—setting strategic direction while they execute.
- • Drive content strategy that extends beyond moderntreasury.com to include third-party platforms that serve as authority signals for search engines and AI systems.
- • Develop and maintain a content ecosystem that meets the needs of technical buyers including developers, payment operations teams, and finance leaders evaluating infrastructure solutions.
- • Continuously experiment with evolving search behaviors in the AI era, adapting content formats and distribution channels to maintain dominance in organic discovery.
- • Translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical audiences and drive organic engagement across diverse platforms.
- • Monitor and analyze enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Profound) to identify performance trends, diagnose traffic shifts, and quantify content opportunities.
- • Ship content directly—writing and editing key pieces—rather than delegating creation, meeting Modern Treasury’s senior individual contributor standard for content ownership.
- • Ensure all content aligns with Modern Treasury’s brand voice and technical credibility while meeting the informational intent of buyers at every stage of their evaluation journey.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6 to 8 years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or organic growth, preferably at B2B SaaS, fintech, infrastructure, API, or developer-tool companies
- • Proven track record of growing qualified organic traffic and pipeline through strategic content, not just technical SEO fixes
- • Hands-on experience or active experimentation with AI-Enhanced Search (AEO) and how search is evolving in the AI era
- • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using enterprise SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Profound, or similar
- • Deep understanding of technical buyer journeys, particularly for developers, payment operations, and finance teams evaluating infrastructure
- • Ability to write and ship high-quality content independently, not just brief others
