  • • At Union, we are at the forefront of solving one of the most significant challenges in AI infrastructure today: enabling high-velocity iteration while ensuring seamless production-readiness for AI workloads at scale. Our flagship open-source project, Flyte, has rapidly become the modern standard for data and AI orchestration, earning the trust of leading technology organizations such as LinkedIn, Stripe, and Wayve. These organizations rely on Flyte to manage millions of mission-critical workflows, encompassing everything from data preparation and model training to scaled inference, spanning thousands of GPUs across all major cloud providers and on-premise infrastructure.
  • • As the AI Solutions Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison for our key customers, taking ownership of their successful adoption, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Union Cloud platform and the Flyte orchestration system. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers derive maximum value from our cutting-edge AI infrastructure solutions.
  • • Leveraging your deep expertise in AI workflows, data pipelines, and cloud environments, you will guide customers through complex integrations, provide comprehensive training, proactively troubleshoot challenges, and drive product utilization. A critical aspect of your role will be translating their evolving business needs and technical requirements into actionable insights that inform and shape the direction of our product and engineering teams.
  • • You will be instrumental in building and nurturing strong cross-functional relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, from hands-on engineers to executive sponsors. Your ability to anticipate future requirements, identify potential roadblocks, and deliver proactive, value-driven solutions will be paramount in driving customer retention, fostering loyalty, and expanding the platform's value within their existing AI and data ecosystems.
  • • Acting as a strategic partner to our users, you will help them navigate the complexities of evolving AI workflows, ensuring they are leveraging Union and Flyte to their fullest potential. Simultaneously, you will surface key insights and trends observed in customer environments that directly inform our product development strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • • You will collaborate directly with our AI, ML, and platform engineering teams, as well as customer technical decision-makers, to ensure seamless implementation of our solutions. Your efforts will accelerate value realization for our clients and build strong, enduring partnerships that support customer retention, expansion opportunities, and cultivate customer advocacy.
  • • Key responsibilities include owning and driving strategic account plans specifically focused on achieving adoption milestones, expanding usage, and driving revenue growth through a successful land-and-expand model.
  • • You will partner closely with internal technical teams to assist customers in designing and optimizing their workflows for robust, production-grade AI systems.
  • • You will own the end-to-end customer outcomes and the demonstrable value they achieve from the Union platform.
  • • Guiding customers through the onboarding and integration process, troubleshooting complex challenges, driving product utilization, and providing timely, effective expertise to resolve intricate issues will be central to your role.
  • • Translating real-world challenges encountered in customer environments into clear, actionable feedback for our product and engineering teams is a core function.
  • • You will proactively track customer health, identify signs of friction or emerging opportunities, and develop strategic engagement plans tailored for both technical users and executive stakeholders.
  • • Driving renewals and commercial growth will be achieved by closely aligning our product capabilities with evolving customer needs and proactively identifying upsell or cross-sell pathways.
  • • You will facilitate the creation of essential technical enablement content, including reference architectures, debugging guides, cookbooks, and tutorials, to effectively scale your impact across the customer base.
  • • Leading crucial customer touchpoints such as roadmap sessions, architecture reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and executive briefings will ensure continuous alignment with customer goals and value realization.
  • • You will serve as the internal voice of the customer, actively participating in planning, prioritization discussions, and go-to-market strategy alignment.
  • • Ultimately, you will be the champion for customer success, ensuring they achieve their AI and data orchestration objectives with Union and Flyte.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or ML Data Engineer within a B2B developer tools or platform company.
  • • Demonstrated experience working closely with enterprise engineering and product teams, whether in customer success, solutions engineering, DevRel, or internal ML platform roles, with the ability to credibly lead both deep technical architecture discussions and high-level business reviews.
  • • At least a design and architecture-level understanding of systems involving data processing, model training, model serving, or model monitoring.
  • • Proven experience in MLOps, LLMOps, machine learning pipelines, and data orchestration tools.
  • • Proficiency in Python, or a genuine desire and aptitude to learn, given its prevalence in data science and AI workflows.
