Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end design, build, and maintenance of AI-powered internal tools that eliminate repetitive work for 250+ Wrapbook teammates across the USA and Canada. You will create Slack chatbots that answer policy questions in seconds, smart data-entry forms that auto-populate from emails, and automated report generators that surface real-time payroll insights.
- • Partner directly with the Director of AI & Operational Transformation to identify high-impact automation opportunities in Risk & Benefits, Payroll Operations, Tax Operations, Union Payroll, and Customer Success Support. You will translate complex operational pain points into elegant technical solutions that scale.
- • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on workflows using a hybrid stack: no-code/low-code platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n) for speed and custom Python/JavaScript for precision. You will stage-rollout each solution, gather user feedback in Slack threads, and refine until adoption is effortless.
- • Integrate and orchestrate data flows between Salesforce (CRM), Slack (communications), Decagon (AI agent platform), Airia (AI assistant), and internal APIs. You will build reliable connectors, webhooks, and error-handling logic so that information moves securely and instantaneously across systems.
- • Ensure every automation is bullet-proof: write unit tests, simulate edge cases, and monitor logs to guarantee 99.9 % uptime. You will document architecture, create run-books, and set up alerting so that any teammate can troubleshoot without waking you at 2 a.m.
- • Champion a culture of self-service by producing crystal-clear guides, Loom videos, and live demos. You will train finance associates on how to trigger month-end reports, show payroll ops how to spin up new Slack bots, and maintain an internal wiki that turns novices into power users.
- • Measure impact obsessively: track hours saved, error rates reduced, and user satisfaction scores. You will present weekly dashboards to leadership, spotlighting wins like “Cut onboarding time from 45 min to 7 min” or “Reduced manual data entry by 1,200 rows per week.”
- • Stay ahead of the AI curve: experiment with new LLM releases, evaluate emerging automation platforms, and propose quarterly moonshot projects that could redefine how Wrapbook operates. Your curiosity directly influences our roadmap and keeps us at the cutting edge of production payroll technology.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders who range from SAG-AFTRA veterans to ex-Facebook engineers. You will translate union contract nuances into code and explain API latency to non-technical producers—bridging Hollywood and Silicon Valley mindsets.
- • Contribute to the broader AI strategy by maintaining a prioritized backlog, estimating effort vs. impact, and ensuring every sprint delivers tangible value. You will balance quick wins that delight users today with foundational work that supports 10× growth tomorrow.
