📋 Description

• As an AI Tutor specializing in Biology, you will serve as a subject matter expert at the intersection of advanced AI and life sciences, playing a critical role in shaping the capabilities of large language models through expert evaluation and refinement.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and evaluating high-difficulty biology prompts to test AI model limits, identifying reasoning errors and failure modes in model outputs, applying adversarial prompting techniques to uncover gaps in understanding, and providing expert feedback across molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, and related subfields.
• You will collaborate closely with project leads to ensure consistent quality and scientific rigor in all AI training data, contributing to the development of more accurate and reliable AI systems in scientific domains.
• This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in AI evaluation methodologies, contribute to cutting-edge AI safety and performance research, and apply your PhD-level biology knowledge in a novel, high-impact context at the forefront of AI innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Biology or a closely related life sciences field
• Deep subject matter expertise with ability to work at PhD-level complexity in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or related subfields
• Prior experience in AI data annotation or RLHF (hands-on tasking)
• Strong written communication and exceptional attention to detail
• Permanent residency or work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
