- • Architect and own the end-to-end commercial data ecosystem that will power Orca Bio’s first-in-class cell-therapy launch. You will design, build, and continuously refine the data pipelines, warehouses, and dashboards that turn raw CRM, order-management, and patient-services data into the single source of truth for forecasting, field execution, and executive decision-making.
- • Serve as the primary steward of data integrity across Salesforce Veeva, PowerBI/Tableau, and the internal data warehouse. Build robust ETL workflows, automated validation rules, and exception-handling protocols that guarantee 100 % accuracy for every KPI, IC payout, and territory scorecard delivered to Sales Ops, Finance, and senior leadership.
- • Create and maintain a library of self-service field analytics dashboards that empower sales representatives, regional managers, and onboarding specialists to monitor call activity, account penetration, product ordering trends, and incentive-comp progress in real time. Translate complex SQL queries and statistical models into intuitive visual stories that drive daily behaviors and quarterly strategic pivots.
- • Partner with Forecasting and Market Access to translate external market research, payer-reimbursement data, and patient-services metrics into scenario-based revenue models. Provide analytic inputs for annual brand planning, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc board presentations, ensuring every assumption is backed by clean, traceable data.
- • Own the commercial KPI framework: define, document, and socialize metrics such as time-to-first-dose, account onboarding velocity, pull-through rates, and gross-to-net performance. Build automated alerts that flag under-performing territories or emerging market-access barriers before they impact revenue.
- • Collaborate with IT, external vendors, and compliance to configure CRM security, user provisioning, and audit trails that satisfy both FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements and SOX controls. Lead quarterly data-governance reviews and champion best-practice documentation so the organization can scale confidently.
- • Drive continuous improvement by piloting next-generation BI tools, machine-learning models, and predictive analytics that anticipate patient demand, prescriber behavior, and competitive dynamics. Present findings in cross-functional forums, translating statistical significance into commercial action plans.
- • Act as the go-to subject-matter expert for all things data: mentor junior analysts, run lunch-and-learn sessions on SQL optimization, and evangelize a culture where every decision—big or small—is informed by evidence.
ďż˝ Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field plus 5+ years of hands-on commercial analytics experience in biotech, pharma, or medical devices
- • Proven mastery of SQL, Excel, and data-visualization best practices; direct experience building and maintaining dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau
- • Demonstrated success designing ETL pipelines, managing master data, and integrating CRM (Salesforce or Veeva) with downstream BI tools
- • Nice-to-have: familiarity with incentive-compensation analytics, patient-services data, and FDA/21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements
