This includes managing permissions, ensuring efficient query execution, and overseeing the evolution of the platform to meet growing business needs.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to collaborate closely with various business teams to define and align on shared metrics and critical business definitions. You will guide these teams through complex semantic tradeoffs and resolve definition discrepancies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- • You will oversee the meticulous care, ongoing development, and unwavering reliability of Kin’s core dashboards and reports. This involves ensuring that critical business intelligence tools are accurate, performant, and readily available to stakeholders.
- • A significant part of your responsibility will be to partner effectively with our Data Engineering teams. You will provide crucial input on dimensional model design and its continuous evolution, advocating for best practices that directly support and enhance downstream analytics and reporting capabilities.

- • You will significantly enhance self-service analytics capabilities for business users by developing curated datasets, promoting the use of reusable metrics, providing comprehensive documentation, and implementing lightweight guardrails that empower users while maintaining data integrity.
- • A tangible outcome of your leadership will be demonstrably improved performance and reliability of both enterprise-level and self-service reporting and dashboards, ensuring that users can access the information they need, when they need it, with confidence.

You will be a key player in enabling Kin to leverage its data assets to their fullest potential, driving informed decisions and strategic growth.
- • You will champion data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring that the data underpinning our analytics is trustworthy and reliable. This includes establishing processes for data validation, anomaly detection, and continuous improvement.
- • You will play a crucial role in defining the roadmap for our BI and analytics tools, ensuring that Kin remains at the cutting edge of data technology and practices.
- • By fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across departments, you will ensure that analytics solutions are aligned with business objectives and deliver tangible value.
- • Your leadership will empower teams to move beyond basic reporting to sophisticated analysis, uncovering deeper insights and identifying new opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
