Antenna Engineer (RF / EM Simulation)

📋 Description

• • As the first internal antenna specialist, you will bridge theory and practice by designing, simulating, testing, and integrating antennas into real UAV and IoT devices, directly impacting product development from concept to production.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing EM simulations using Ansys HFSS or CST Studio Suite, designing patch and PCB-integrated antennas (e.g., Inverted-F, Meander), conducting impedance matching with Smith Chart, measuring S11/VSWR using VNA, and validating performance in sub-6GHz frequencies with plans to expand to 6–8 GHz.
• • You will join a Ukrainian product R&D company developing proprietary UAV and IoT solutions, where you’ll help build an in-house RF laboratory and transition from external prototyping to internal antenna development and manufacturing readiness.
• • This role offers the opportunity to grow from theoretical RF knowledge to hands-on hardware engineering, gaining end-to-end experience in antenna design, DFM, testing, and integration while contributing to cutting-edge aerospace and embedded systems.
