- • Manage full-cycle accounts payable operations for Nord Security Inc., ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- • Review and verify all vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance with purchase orders, and alignment with company policies before approval and payment.
- • Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger with precision, ensuring all transactions are properly coded, documented, and recorded in the general ledger.
- • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and departmental teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, missing documentation, or billing errors.
- • Prepare and process payments via bank transfers and other approved methods, adhering to internal controls and approval workflows.
- • Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve any outstanding discrepancies or aging items in a timely manner.
- • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and local accounting standards in Lithuania, including VAT reporting and documentation for audits.
- • Support annual and quarterly financial audits by preparing and organizing required AP documentation, vendor contracts, and payment records.
- • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and minimize errors in the accounts payable cycle.
- • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for payment inquiries and billing issues.
- • Monitor payment deadlines to avoid late fees and maintain favorable vendor terms and credit relationships.
- • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts payable liabilities and cash flow.
- • Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and internal financial policies affecting accounts payable operations.
- • Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis initiatives.
- • Utilize ERP and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) to manage transactions, generate reports, and maintain system integrity.
- • Ensure all financial documentation is securely stored and accessible for internal audits, regulatory reviews, or external inspections.
- • Participate in cross-functional projects to streamline financial workflows and improve integration between AP and other finance functions.
- • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and adhere to Nord Security’s cybersecurity and data privacy protocols.
- • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
- • Report directly to the Finance Manager and collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure global accounting consistency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- • Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- • Strong knowledge of Lithuanian VAT regulations and local accounting standards
- • Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing with zero tolerance for errors
- • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
