- • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recipient of Apple’s 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
- • Actively ship production code for the iOS application, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features for over 50 million users.
- • Work within a dedicated product team to design, build, and refine core functionality of the iOS app, including text-to-speech playback, document parsing, and user interface enhancements.
- • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, influencing feature priorities based on user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture using modern iOS development practices and scalable design patterns.
- • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and AI researchers to deliver seamless, inclusive experiences for users with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners.
- • Optimize app performance through multithreaded programming, efficient memory management, and responsive UI rendering with SwiftUI.
- • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane to automate testing, signing, and App Store deployments.
- • Apply SOLID principles to write clean, testable, and maintainable Swift code across all modules of the application.
- • Use Git with established branching and merge strategies to manage code changes in a distributed, asynchronous team environment.
- • Contribute to a high-growth, 100% remote startup culture where speed, focus, and customer obsession drive daily work.
- • Receive direct user feedback from individuals whose lives have been transformed by the product, including stories of emotional impact and improved accessibility.
- • Work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and audio technology, advancing a product recognized by Apple as App of the Day and by Google as Chrome Extension of the Year.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Swift programming language
- • Experience with SwiftUI for building iOS user interfaces
- • Proven experience with multithreaded programming in iOS applications
- • Hands-on experience with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane for app deployment
- • Demonstrated understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture in Swift
- • Experience with Git and established Git workflows in team environments
