📋 Description

• Join Anyone AI Inc. as an Application Security Engineer focused on CVE and vulnerability research, working remotely from anywhere in Argentina.
• Your core responsibility will be to scrutinize real-world software vulnerabilities, ensuring that CVE reproductions, exploit proof‑of‑concepts, and remediation strategies are technically sound and effective.
• You will evaluate Docker‑based vulnerability labs, verifying that the environment accurately mimics the original attack conditions and that fixes address the root cause without breaking legitimate functionality.
• Conduct thorough security regression testing, identifying any new vulnerabilities or regressions introduced by proposed fixes.
• Provide clear, technically rigorous written feedback on vulnerability reproduction accuracy, remediation quality, and overall security posture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve vulnerability reproduction processes, remediation workflows, and verification logic.
• Maintain and develop exploit proof‑of‑concept code, ensuring it remains up‑to‑date and reliable for future assessments.
• Leverage your expertise in secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and Docker to assess and enhance the security of application environments.
• Participate in responsible vulnerability disclosure and CVE reporting initiatives, contributing to the broader security community.
• Utilize automated security testing tools (Python, requests, curl, pwntools) to validate fixes and uncover alternative exploitation paths.
• Apply DevSecOps principles, integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines and leveraging SAST, DAST, and other security tooling.
• Stay current with emerging threats, AI evaluation techniques, and reinforcement learning for security data projects.
• Work on a part‑time, project‑based consulting basis, allowing flexibility while delivering high‑impact security insights.
• Your work will directly influence the quality and reliability of software releases, protecting users from real‑world attacks.
• You will be part of a team that values deep technical expertise, meticulous analysis, and clear communication.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in application security, penetration testing, or vulnerability research
• Strong understanding of CVE, CVSS, CWE, and common vulnerability classes
• Proficiency with Docker and Docker Compose
• Ability to provide clear, technically rigorous written feedback
• Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, command injection, SSRF, deserialization, buffer overflows, privilege escalation, access control issues, and security misconfigurations
