This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Salesforce Developer to deepen their engagement with business operations, leverage their expertise on the Salesforce platform to drive significant impact, and broaden their technical horizons beyond core Salesforce development.
  • • You will be positioned within a dynamic and expanding development team, offering a collaborative environment where you can both learn from and contribute to shaping our technological future. Your role will be pivotal in evolving a Salesforce data model that is not only technically scalable and easily reportable but also functionally intuitive for our end-users, ensuring seamless adoption and efficient operations.
  • • Your responsibilities will include the meticulous design and implementation of custom functionality using a suite of Salesforce development tools. This involves leveraging SOQL, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, and Apex callouts to tailor our sales systems precisely to Twilio's unique business and operating model, ensuring our technology stack perfectly aligns with our strategic objectives.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves active participation in technical analysis activities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and document integration requirements, contributing significantly to the integration design process alongside architects and other technical leaders. This ensures that our systems are interconnected efficiently and effectively.
  • • You will be entrusted with the critical task of reviewing and assuring the quality of all code integrated into our codebase. This commitment to code quality is paramount for maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our applications.
  • • A continuous evaluation and refactoring of our existing codebase will be essential to enhance its extensibility and maintainability. This proactive approach ensures that our systems can adapt to future business needs and technological advancements.
  • • The role demands a proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to readily learn and apply new technologies as project requirements evolve. This ensures that the team remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Furthermore, you will be involved in optimizing and managing millions of rows of data, ensuring high performance and efficient data handling.
  • • Developing robust unit tests with comprehensive assertions for core functionality will be a standard practice, ensuring the reliability and correctness of all developed features.
  • • You will translate complex technical requirements into well-defined, independent features ready for development, demonstrating a strong capability in debugging and troubleshooting to resolve any issues that arise during the development lifecycle.
  • • This position offers a unique chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a company that is revolutionizing the communications landscape. Your work will directly impact how businesses connect with their customers, making a tangible difference in the global market.
  • • Twilio fosters a remote-first culture, emphasizing connection, global inclusion, and a strong sense of community. You will be part of a vibrant, diverse team, making a global impact from your home office. We believe in empowering our employees to grow their careers and provide the resources and support needed to achieve their professional goals.
