- • Own the end-to-end build of internal AI tools and automations, from requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment to design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- • Translate ambiguous business needs into coherent AI-driven solutions and present them to non-technical stakeholders to secure buy-in.
- • Contribute to a shared TypeScript substrate layer that underpins all internal AI tools at LI.FI, ensuring your work compounds across teams.
- • Collaborate directly with business teams including BD, sales, operations, legal, HR, finance, marketing, and customer service to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI leverage.
- • Build production-grade AI systems using LLM tooling, agent libraries, or AI frameworks, with attention to evaluation, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- • Work cross-functionally with DevOps and Security teams through the company’s standard prioritization workflow to ensure compliance and scalability.
- • Think strategically about LI.FI’s overall internal AI strategy, moving beyond one-off automations to shape a cohesive ecosystem of productivity tools.
- • Work independently with structured discipline, managing projects end-to-end without constant oversight while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate initiative through self-directed learning, side projects, or open source contributions that showcase AI-native engineering experience.
- • Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal form, acting as the bridge between business teams and technical AI capabilities.
- • Build on a tech stack including Node.js with TypeScript in Docker containers, MongoDB, Redis, Postgres, Ethers.js, Vien.js, GitHub, Kubernetes, AWS, and CloudFlare.
- • Contribute to a culture of ownership, accountability, and learning by taking bold actions, owning outcomes, and learning from failures.
- • Participate in a comprehensive interview process including a people operations interview, a take-home assignment, a meet-the-team & founder interview, and a reference check.
- • Engage in a remote-first environment with collaboration expectations aligned to EMEA time zones (UTC+0 to UTC+5).
🎯 Requirements
- • TypeScript proficiency — minimum technical bar for contributing to the shared substrate layer
- • Demonstrable, AI-native engineering experience — GitHub projects, open source contributions, or working implementations using LLM tooling, agent libraries, or AI frameworks
- • DevOps & Security knowledge — understanding of best practices and foreseeable challenges
- • Drive and curiosity — self-directed builder who creates outside of assigned tasks
- • Structured independence — ability to manage end-to-end projects without hand-holding while staying coordinated
- • Strong written and verbal communication — ability to bridge business stakeholders and AI capabilities
