• • As an Applied AI Engineer at Rillet Technologies Inc., you will be at the forefront of innovation, designing and deploying cutting-edge AI systems that are fundamentally reshaping how finance and accounting teams operate. This pivotal role places you at the dynamic intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs), sophisticated ERP workflows, and critical financial data, where you will architect the intelligence layer that distinguishes Rillet from traditional, legacy ERP solutions.
• • You will be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of high-impact features, from the initial conceptualization and model integration through to the deployment and maintenance of robust infrastructure. The solutions you build will be instrumental in empowering finance teams at leading high-growth companies such as Neuralink, Kickstarter, and Windsurf, becoming an integral part of their daily operations.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of AI feature development. This includes building and shipping production-ready AI features across Rillet's comprehensive ERP platform. These features will span a range of advanced applications, including intelligent AI agents designed to automate complex tasks, sophisticated structured data extraction capabilities to streamline information processing, and intelligent automation solutions tailored for intricate accounting workflows.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the critical infrastructure that underpins our AI operations. This includes managing and scaling LLM inference pipelines, developing and optimizing fine-tuning processes for our models, and architecting and maintaining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to ensure efficient and accurate information retrieval.

You will work closely with product managers and fellow engineering teams to translate the complex, nuanced requirements of finance and accounting workflows into elegant, AI-driven solutions.
