  • • As an Applied AI Engineer at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will turn model capabilities into real product behavior by owning problems end-to-end—from shaping model behavior and building supporting systems to ensuring reliable performance in production.
  • • Your day-to-day work will involve building and shipping AI features from model to user experience, designing and iterating on prompts, tools, memory, and agent workflows, and turning raw model outputs into structured, reliable behaviors.
  • • You will debug issues across the full stack (model, orchestration, infrastructure, UX), optimize for latency, cost, and production reliability, and develop lightweight evaluation frameworks to measure real-world performance.
  • • You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate ambiguous problems into working systems, contributing to a proactive AI system that understands context across conversations and carries work forward over time.
  • • The role sits at the intersection of machine learning, systems, and product, focused on making AI work reliably for users in real-world usage, not just in demos.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Strong foundation in machine learning and modern neural network architectures
  • • Hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, or deploying ML models

  • • Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
