📋 Description

• As an Applied Value Engineer at Celonis, you will push the envelope in solving business-critical problems for strategic customers by leveraging the world’s leading Process Intelligence platform combined with AI and ML technologies from partners like Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks to turn data insights into immediate business action.
• Day to day, you will understand customer AI strategy and challenges, prototype innovative solutions in hackathons, build secure and scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG and guardrails, and ensure successful implementation, adoption, and value realization of AI deployments at scale.
• You will join a global leader in Process Intelligence and pioneer of Process Mining technology, working with a mission-driven team focused on unlocking global productivity and sustainability by placing intelligence at the core of every business process.
• In this role, you will specialize in domains or industries such as supply chain, develop expertise in agentic process transformation, and drive real ROI from AI deployments while growing your technical and consulting impact across enterprise customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales, including defining AI roadmaps, building compelling ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
• Understanding of generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning to build high-impact use cases like intelligent chatbots and automated text processors.
• Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) as well as data engineering tools and technologies.
• Strong presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, in whiteboarding sessions or formal readouts and demos.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience preferred.
