- • Design and deliver architectural solutions for hospitality and gaming projects, including resorts, hotels, and casinos, across all phases from schematic design through construction documentation and administration.
- • Lead and contribute to the development of immersive, guest-centric environments that transform user experience through innovative spatial planning, material selection, and design storytelling.
- • Collaborate closely with project leaders, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure design intent is maintained and project goals are met.
- • Independently manage and advance portions of project scope with minimal supervision, including coordination of design development, technical documentation, and construction-phase support.
- • Apply regenerative design principles to create sustainable, resilient, and environmentally responsible hospitality and gaming environments.
- • Engage in design charrettes, client presentations, and stakeholder meetings to communicate design concepts and respond to feedback.
- • Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior design consultants to ensure integrated, code-compliant, and constructible solutions.
- • Maintain high standards of technical accuracy in drawings, specifications, and construction documents while adhering to local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- • Contribute to the firm’s culture of creativity and collaboration by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior staff, and participating in internal design reviews.
- • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and project scoping activities for new hospitality and gaming opportunities.
- • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving guest expectations in the global hospitality and gaming sectors.
- • Work within a dynamic, multi-market office environment where hospitality and gaming projects are central, but opportunities exist to engage with diverse project types.
- • Ensure all design work reflects Cuningham Group’s commitment to transforming how people feel, connect, and experience the built environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional licensure as an Architect in the United States
- • Demonstrated experience on resort, hotel, and/or casino projects within the hospitality and gaming market sector
- • Proficiency in architectural design software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
