📋 Description

  • • Jellyfish is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Producer to join our dedicated global production team, partnering with a leading global sports brand. This role is instrumental in the operationalization of our production model, working closely with the internal Comms and Storytelling Team producers to deliver end-to-end strategic and operational marketing services across the entire global communications journey. You will be a key player in optimizing the production vision, collaborating directly with our Global Senior Production Operations Manager and Producers.
  • • In this dynamic role, you will take ownership of critical financial processes within production. This includes managing the entire production finance lifecycle, ensuring budgets are adhered to, and overseeing cost negotiations at various production levels. Your financial acumen will be vital in maintaining the smooth operation of projects and contributing to their overall success.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact (POC) both internally and externally for production-related matters. This involves liaising with various stakeholders, managing communications, and ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the production process. Your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships will be paramount.
  • • A significant part of your responsibility will involve the meticulous management of production job numbers and time tracking. You will be responsible for the accurate creation of job numbers within our financial systems (FF), ensuring that all project-related data is correctly logged and accessible. This forms the backbone of our project management and financial reporting.
  • • You will play a crucial role in supporting data management and reporting, particularly for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). This involves assisting in the consolidation and analysis of production data, providing insights that inform strategic decisions and performance evaluations.
  • • As an Assistant Producer, you will provide essential team administration support. This encompasses ensuring that all team meetings are scheduled and facilitated, that necessary equipment and resources are available, and that all file access permissions are up-to-date and managed effectively. Your organizational skills will keep the team running efficiently.
  • • A key administrative duty is supporting all new starters with their onboarding and training. You will ensure a seamless integration into the team, providing them with the necessary information, resources, and introductions to help them become productive members of the Jellyfish family.
  • • Beyond direct support, you will contribute to the production process by ensuring that all Business Affairs paperwork is appropriately consolidated and filed, both during and after shoots. This includes managing samples, final reconciliations, and the comprehensive archiving of completed business paperwork and asset data, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
  • • You will also provide general administrative support related to samples, final reconciliations, and the archiving of complete business paperwork and asset data. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and easily retrievable.
  • • While not your primary focus, there will be opportunities for occasional direct production support, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the execution of creative projects.
  • • We highly value individuals who can conduct themselves professionally in a business environment. You must be flexible and adaptable to variable team dynamics and diverse cultures, quickly building and nurturing mutually strong working relationships. Embracing and promoting new ways of working is essential, as is fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to anticipate needs, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and deliver high-quality work under pressure. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and success of our global production operations for a high-profile client.
