- • The Associate Creative Director (Writer) at USAA contributes to and executes the creative vision through the development of best-in-class idea platforms, creative concepts, and tactical execution of creative campaigns and projects, playing a key role in delivering compelling messaging that supports USAA’s mission to empower military members and their families with financial security.
- • Day to day, the role involves providing creative direction for multiple campaigns and projects, overseeing tactical execution, leading teams in developing idea platforms, managing operating rhythms for creative teams, mentoring new hires through onboarding curriculum, collaborating with marketing partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and advocating for creative best practices and process improvements.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- • 8 or more years of experience in creative development, design, copy, production, or media planning with accountability for complex tasks or projects
- • Subject-matter-expert knowledge of the creative function, including business acumen, industry practices, and emerging trends
- • Highly proficient computer skills, especially with Adobe Creative Suite applications
- • Digital portfolio required, showcasing campaign work across TV, social, and print
- • Experience leading creative teams and creating content for social platforms
