- • The Associate Data Engineer, CX role at NICE Ltd. is critical to ensuring the reliability, observability, and efficiency of data infrastructure that powers CXone’s data products. You will sit at the intersection of data engineering and platform operations, enabling safe, automated, and scalable data workflows across global teams.
- • Day to day, you will coordinate and execute build and release activities across multiple production regions during maintenance windows, manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, author and track Change Requests in ServiceNow, monitor Snowflake environments and MSK/Kafka systems via CloudWatch, respond to platform alerts, maintain runbooks, and support data engineering teams with deployment and environment issues. You will also drive improvements by identifying toil, prototyping automation, and building tooling to enhance release pipeline reliability.
- • You will join a high-performing, globally distributed DataOps team within NICE CXone, part of a market-leading innovation powerhouse recognized for excellence in AI, cloud, and digital solutions. The team operates with a strong focus on collaboration, reliability, and continuous improvement, supporting 25,000+ global businesses and 85 Fortune 100 companies.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern data infrastructure technologies including Snowflake, AWS, CI/CD, and observability tools, while gaining hands-on experience in formal change management, cross-timezone collaboration, and AI-augmented operations. You will develop strong operational discipline, automation skills, and the ability to translate technical work into clear stakeholder communication — positioning you for growth into senior DataOps, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years in a DataOps, Platform Operations, or DevOps/SRE role supporting data infrastructure
- • Hands-on experience with Snowflake: RBAC, warehouses, multi-environment administration, and SQL
- • Proficiency with AWS services: S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda — comfortable in console and CLI
- • Experience defining and working within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
- • Python scripting for operational automation
- • Experience working within a formal change management process: CRs, maintenance windows, approvals
- • Clear communicator during incidents — proactively keeps stakeholders informed
- • Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones in a distributed team
- • Familiar with AI tools and comfortable using them in day-to-day work
