📋 Description

• As an Associate Developer Experience Engineer on Camunda’s newly formed Ex(perience) team, you will directly influence how developers worldwide interact with Camunda 8’s orchestration platform, ensuring seamless, reliable, and delightful experiences that drive adoption and trust in enterprise-grade agentic automation.
• You will own end-to-end improvements to developer-facing tools and APIs—including SDKs, test libraries, and client libraries—by implementing quality-of-life features, enforcing semantic versioning guarantees, and contributing to open-source extensions that elevate Camunda’s polyglot developer experience.
• You’ll collaborate asynchronously across global teams in a fully remote environment, advocating internally for developer needs while shipping hands-on code that reduces friction, improves compatibility, and empowers users to build and test business processes faster.

• In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in Java, C#, and TypeScript while gaining hands-on experience with BPMN, SDK design, API governance, and developer tooling—positioning you as a specialist in developer experience engineering within the rapidly evolving enterprise automation space.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda’s product by signing up for a free cloud account
• Experience writing code in C#, Java, and/or TypeScript
• Ability to work asynchronously with cross-functional teams across time zones to achieve shared goals
• Strong sense of ‘manager of one’—proactively unblocking yourself and reaching out for help when needed
