📋 Description
- • As an Associate Editor in College Board’s Assessment Design and Development (AD&D) team, you will ensure the quality, clarity, accuracy, and consistency of assessment materials and publications for the SAT Suite, AP, ACCUPLACER, and other programs, directly supporting College Board’s mission to expand educational opportunity.
- • Day to day, you will copyedit and proofread test questions, assessment support materials, and publications across digital and print formats; apply College Board and industry style guidelines; fact-check content; collaborate with editorial peers and subject matter experts; maintain in-house style guides; leverage AI and technology tools to improve workflow efficiency; participate in meetings and cross-functional collaboration; contribute to process improvements, documentation, and special projects; and engage in professional growth opportunities.
- • The Editorial team is part of College Board’s AD&D department, a collaborative group committed to producing error-free, style-consistent, and standards-aligned test content. The team works closely with Math, Reading, and Writing SMEs and other College Board units to publish assessments in multiple formats, and is currently refining processes, strengthening partnerships, and identifying innovative ways to improve editorial workflows.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in educational publishing and assessment editing, gain experience with AI-enhanced editorial tools, strengthen cross-functional collaboration skills, contribute to process innovation, and grow professionally through exposure to high-stakes assessment development and continuous learning initiatives.
