We are part of OKG, a conglomerate dedicated to bringing the transformative power of blockchain technology to users worldwide through innovative products like OKX, OKX Wallet, and OKLink.
- • The OKX Legal team is a dynamic, high-performing, and commercially minded group that provides strategic, pragmatic legal advice across all business areas and jurisdictions. We enable the company to scale responsibly within a fast-paced and highly regulated industry, thriving in a collaborative, global environment.
- • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate General Counsel – EMEA Employment Counsel to serve as the dedicated regional subject matter expert for employment law across the EMEA region. This pivotal role will be instrumental in supporting our rapidly scaling organization, playing a critical part in building robust employment law infrastructure, effectively managing legal risks, and fostering strong partnerships with our People (HR), Compliance, and business leadership teams.
- • This position offers flexibility, allowing you to be based remotely within Europe or on-site at our Dubai office. We require adaptability to work across various EMEA time zones. This encompasses advising on all stages, from initial hiring and performance management to complex disciplinary actions, organizational restructurings, terminations, and sensitive employee relations matters, ensuring fair and legally sound practices.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in advising on the employment law implications of business expansion, scaling initiatives, and significant organizational changes. This includes providing guidance on mergers and acquisitions, large-scale restructurings, and strategic workforce planning to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
- • You will be responsible for drafting, meticulously reviewing, and maintaining all essential employment-related documentation. This includes employment contracts, company policies, employee handbooks, incentive plans, and internal guidelines, ensuring they are up-to-date, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

- • You will advise on complex employee mobility issues, remote work arrangements, cross-border employment challenges, and matters related to works councils and employee representative bodies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- • Staying ahead of the curve is essential; you will continuously monitor and interpret evolving employment laws and regulations across EMEA, providing proactive, practical, and actionable guidance to all relevant stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
- • You will foster strong collaborative relationships with internal Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business teams, ensuring seamless alignment with OKX's core company values and risk appetite, promoting a unified approach to legal and ethical conduct.
