• Own the end-to-end Oracle EBS technical landscape for a Fortune-500 client undergoing one of the largest ERP simplification programs in North America. You will architect, build, and modernize every layer of Oracle EBS—Financials, SCM, and Manufacturing—while guiding a 25-member, multi-shore team that spans the U.S., Mexico, and India.
• Drive decustomization at scale: audit 1,200+ custom objects, retire 300+ redundant CEMLI components, and replace them with vanilla Oracle functionality. Your decisions will directly cut annual support costs by 18 % and reduce patching downtime from 14 hours to under 4.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of Oracle EBS R12.2.11 upgrades and quarterly online patching cycles. You will author MD70 solution documents, review TE20 technical specs, and sign off CV40 code validations to guarantee zero-severity defects in production.
• Translate complex business requirements—such as global tax reform, intercompany eliminations, and process-manufacturing cost rollups—into elegant PL/SQL packages, BI Publisher templates, and OBIEE dashboards that delight finance, supply-chain, and plant operations teams.
• Champion a "clean-core" philosophy: introduce automated code-quality gates, enforce Oracle AIM standards, and mentor junior developers through rigorous peer reviews. Expect to cut technical debt by 40 % within the first year.
• Own the integration layer between Oracle EBS and SaaS platforms (Snowflake, Coupa, and Salesforce) using RESTful APIs, XML Gateway, and SOA composites. You will guarantee sub-second response times for 5 M+ daily transactions.
• Orchestrate hyper-care and release weekends: coordinate DBAs, sysadmins, and functional SMEs across three time zones to execute 24×7 go-live cutover plans with military precision.
• Partner with Product Managers and ERP Strategists to shape a 3-year roadmap that migrates on-premise EBS to Oracle Cloud ERP while preserving mission-critical customizations. Your technical blueprints will guide a $50 M investment decision.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement: run monthly brown-bag sessions on advanced PL/SQL tuning, BI Publisher pixel-perfect reporting, and Workflow performance optimization. Measure success through 20 % faster month-end close cycles.
• Serve as the final escalation point for P1 incidents. You will perform root-cause analyses, deliver permanent fixes, and present post-mortems to the CIO within 48 hours.
• Leverage your deep manufacturing expertise—Process Manufacturing, Product Scheduling, and Costing—to re-engineer shop-floor integrations, reduce batch cycle times by 30 %, and enable real-time OEE dashboards.
• Influence stakeholders at VP level and above: translate technical trade-offs into business value, secure buy-in for decustomization trade-offs, and negotiate resource allocation across competing initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 11+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS techno-functional experience with at least 5 full-lifecycle implementations or major upgrades
• Expert-level proficiency in Oracle EBS Financials (AP, AR, GL, EBTax) and SCM (Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory)
• Demonstrated mastery of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL tuning, Oracle Reports (RDF), BI Publisher, and OBIEE
• Proven leadership: have led and mentored distributed teams of 10+ engineers in a multi-shore model
