Your journey with each project will span its entire lifecycle, from initial programming and conceptualization through to final closeout. This involves meticulously clarifying project requirements, orchestrating the intricate coordination of design efforts across various disciplines, diligently documenting all critical decisions, and rigorously ensuring that all project deliverables consistently meet Teecom’s high standards for quality, constructability, and client satisfaction.
- • You will be instrumental in applying robust engineering judgment to every facet of your work. A core responsibility will be to maintain unwavering alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget constraints, proactively identifying and surfacing potential risks at the earliest stages to ensure projects remain firmly on track and objectives are met efficiently.
- • Beyond project execution, you will play a crucial role in strengthening Teecom’s internal systems and knowledge base. This includes actively contributing to our shared GitHub repositories, meticulously documenting client-specific nuances and preferences to foster institutional memory, and continuously improving our established standards, tools, and workflows. Your contributions will directly enhance our collective capabilities and operational efficiency.
- • Externally, you will be a key ambassador for Teecom, cultivating and nurturing strong, lasting client relationships. This trust will be built through consistent, clear, and transparent communication, reliable follow-through on commitments, and demonstrating thoughtful, innovative problem-solving approaches to address client challenges.
- • You will also begin to develop and establish your credibility within the industry through proactive thought-leadership activities. This may involve supporting business development pursuits, crafting compelling technical narratives for proposals, actively participating in client interviews, and contributing to the development of valuable content such as blog posts, white papers, and presentations that showcase Teecom’s expertise and your own technical acumen.

This will be achieved through hands-on guidance, constructive reviews of their work, and providing timely, actionable feedback. Your efforts will be critical in strengthening the overall capability of our engineering teams and reinforcing Teecom’s established standards for excellence.
- • While this role does not involve direct people management, you will play an indispensable part in developing Teecom’s talent pool and reinforcing disciplined, high-caliber engineering practices across the organization. Your influence will be felt in the growth and development of your colleagues.
- • This position is designed for an individual who demonstrates strong, well-rounded engineering capability, possesses reliable project leadership skills, and is eager to grow their influence in shaping Teecom’s internal systems, documentation practices, and overall project delivery methodologies. You will be a key contributor to our continued success and evolution.
- • You will be responsible for understanding and integrating complex security requirements into building designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and collaborating with architectural and engineering teams to implement effective security solutions.
- • This includes performing security risk assessments, developing security design concepts, and specifying security systems such as access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
- • You will also be expected to manage project documentation, including design reports, specifications, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
- • The Associate Principal will serve as a technical point of contact for clients and project teams, addressing security-related questions and providing expert guidance.
- • You will contribute to the development of new security technologies and methodologies, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- • You will be empowered to make critical design decisions, manage project risks, and ensure the successful execution of security engineering aspects for a diverse range of projects.
- • Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences will be paramount.
- • You will also be involved in the review and approval of shop drawings and submittals related to security systems, ensuring they align with the design intent and project specifications.
