📋 Description
- • The Associate Solution Engineer role at Neo4j supports the sales team in helping customers realize the value of graph database technology across industries such as fraud detection, knowledge graphs, recommendation systems, risk management, and security. This role is critical in translating customer needs into technical solutions and driving adoption of Neo4j’s platform.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with the sales team in pre-sales activities, deliver technical demonstrations, assist in building proof-of-concepts (POCs), support solution architecture design, prepare technical proposals, and participate in discovery sessions to understand customer environments and map their challenges to Neo4j-based solutions.
- • You will join a global, cross-functional Sales Engineering team at Neo4j, the world’s leading graph database company, trusted by 84% of the Fortune 100 and backed by over $600M in funding from top-tier investors including GV and Eurazeo. The team works across clouds and environments to deliver innovative, graph-powered AI and data solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in graph databases and modern data architectures, gain hands-on experience with Neo4j in enterprise settings, develop customer-facing technical and presentation skills, and grow into a trusted technical advisor who bridges business needs and graph technology solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Junior Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Support, or Technical Consulting)
- • Understanding of database technologies and data modeling concepts; experience with SQL or NoSQL is ideal
- • Solid software engineering principles and proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript
- • Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to small groups
- • Ability and willingness to travel
