- • As an Associate SRE at 66degrees LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients, directly contributing to their digital transformation and operational excellence.
- • Day to day, you will monitor and respond to infrastructure incidents, design and implement self-healing automation using Python and Terraform, collaborate with clients and Google engineers to resolve complex issues, and apply SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to maintain high availability of cloud workloads on GKE, Anthos, and BigQuery.
- • You will join the Managed Cloud Optimization (MCO) team, a rapidly growing group within 66degrees that partners with some of the world’s largest cloud users to optimize their Google Cloud environments, operating from a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Google Cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code, while gaining hands-on experience in incident management, automation at scale, and customer-facing technical consulting — positioning you for growth into a senior SRE or cloud engineering role.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-2 years of cloud and infrastructure experience with Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, databases, and networking
- • Proficiency with Python required; experience with Terraform for provisioning and configuration
- • Experience with 24x7x365 monitoring, incident response, on-call support, and troubleshooting across systems, network, and code
- • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as GKE, Anthos, BigQuery; certifications preferred but not required
- • Understanding of SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and SLAs, with ability to negotiate them with product owners
- • Experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments and balancing service reliability with technical debt and operational toil
- • Strong communication skills for customer-facing collaboration and cross-team coordination
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
