- • As an Associate Systems Support Engineer at Harris Computer Systems Corporation, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting critical IT infrastructure for healthcare clients, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security across Windows-based environments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring, installing, and upgrading servers and applications; monitoring system performance; supporting Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, IIS, clusters, and file systems; coordinating with internal teams on project execution; and continuously improving infrastructure services through proactive maintenance and technical analysis.
- • You will join Altera, a division of Harris Computer Systems Corporation, which serves as a trusted provider of integrated healthcare solutions, connecting clinical, financial, and operational systems to enhance patient care delivery across a large client network.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise Windows environments, virtualization (VMware), database systems, and networking infrastructure, while developing skills in troubleshooting, project coordination, and healthcare IT systems—positioning you for growth in technical support and systems administration careers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 0-1 year of experience administering enterprise Windows and virtual environments
- • Experience with server builds, installation, and configuration per product requirements
- • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, IIS, clustering, and file/print services
- • Familiarity with SQL Server, monitoring tools, and antivirus systems
- • Strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- • Healthcare IT experience is preferred
