Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Be the on-site guardian of worker health: every shift you’ll walk the floor of a high-volume industrial facility in Memphis, proactively spotting early signs of strain, fatigue, or injury before they turn into lost-time incidents. Using computer-vision cameras and wearable sensors, you’ll collect real-time biomechanical data, interpret the findings, and coach employees on safer movement patterns on the spot.
  • • Own a full-scope athletic training caseload: conduct scheduled preventative screens, acute injury evaluations, and evidence-based rehabilitation sessions for both work-related and non-work-related musculoskeletal conditions. You’ll design return-to-work exercise plans, document outcomes in Work Right’s proprietary EMR, and adjust protocols based on objective progress metrics.
  • • Drive culture change through education: develop and deliver dynamic toolbox talks, stretch-and-flex programs, and micro-learning modules that turn safety meetings into engaging, movement-rich experiences. Your ability to translate complex anatomical concepts into simple, actionable language will empower line workers, supervisors, and engineers alike to take ownership of their musculoskeletal health.
  • • Partner cross-functionally with safety, ergonomics, and operations teams to integrate wellness into daily production goals. You’ll sit on the facility’s safety committee, contribute data-driven insights to Job Hazard Analyses, and co-design engineering controls that reduce repetitive stress. When a new process or workstation launches, you’ll validate its ergonomic soundness before the first shift begins.
  • • Leverage analytics to prove ROI: compile monthly dashboards that correlate early-intervention touchpoints with reductions in OSHA recordables, workers’ compensation claims, and lost workdays. Present findings to plant leadership and refine programs continuously, ensuring every dollar spent on prevention yields measurable savings.
  • • Champion innovation: pilot emerging technologies—force plates, motion-capture wearables, AI-driven risk algorithms—and provide feedback to Work Right’s product team. Your frontline insights will shape the next generation of injury-prevention tools deployed across the national network.
  • • Provide compassionate, confidential care: serve as a trusted resource for employees navigating personal injuries, chronic pain, or mental health stressors that impact physical performance. Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and refer to external specialists when cases exceed scope, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • • Maintain professional currency: complete employer-funded continuing-education units, maintain Tennessee state licensure, and hold current CPR/BLS credentials. Share new research with peers during quarterly virtual grand rounds and mentor junior athletic trainers during onboarding rotations.
