📋 Description
- • The AVP - MA Quality Automation role at Synchrony Financial is a senior leadership position focused on driving quality strategy, AI, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across marketing operations. This role is critical for unifying QA practices, ensuring compliance, and improving quality maturity in support of Synchrony’s digitally enabled financial services suite.
- • Day to day, the incumbent will define and maintain test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and production validation; design and enhance automation frameworks using UFT One/QTP, RPA, Python, Excel macros, and AI tools like GitHub Copilot and AWS Bedrock; investigate test failures through root-cause analysis; measure and report quality KPIs; and collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, development, compliance, and audit to align quality standards.
- • The Performance Marketing India team supports US marketing operations through campaign execution, creative services, compliance, and vendor management, working closely with Synchrony’s broader mission to deliver innovative financial products across retail, telecom, health, auto, and more. - • In this role, the individual will lead continuous improvement efforts by piloting emerging QA tools, mentoring team members, automating documentation access, and driving action plans based on quality metrics. They will gain deep exposure to AI-enabled testing, legacy systems (mainframe/green screens), financial services platforms (Fiserv), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), positioning them as a strategic leader in quality and automation within a high-impact marketing operations function.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Operations Excellence, and Automation
- • 3+ years of strong knowledge of QA processes, quality frameworks, and governance models
- • 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools, AI platforms, or workflow automation technologies
- • 2+ years of experience with Excel macros and/or test automation using Python/Selenium, with exposure to AI/GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI/Automation Anywhere AI
- • 2+ years of proven capability to assess and implement new technologies and tools effectively
- • In-depth understanding of artificial intelligence principles, including neural networks, deep learning, NLP, and GenAI
