  • • As an AWS DevOps Microservices Engineer at Solventum, you will play a critical role in enabling better, smarter, and safer healthcare by designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructures that power innovative health solutions at the intersection of health, material, and data science.
  • • You will directly impact patient outcomes and healthcare professional effectiveness by building and operating production-ready container and streaming platforms, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability in a mission-driven environment focused on solving complex healthcare challenges.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing scalable AWS infrastructures using EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and MSK; building and operating container and streaming platforms including EKS, ECS, Kafka, and AWS MSK; developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild; implementing enterprise-grade Infrastructure as Code with Terraform while applying cloud security best practices such as IAM hardening, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls; and leveraging AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.ai to improve productivity, automate workflows, enhance troubleshooting, and optimize cloud cost and performance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 7 years of experience in AWS-focused roles with solid practical expertise across core cloud services, OR High School Diploma/GED AND 10 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in AWS-focused roles
  • • Advanced English proficiency (C2 level) and proven experience with infrastructure including EKS, ECS, and MSK
  • • Experience implementing CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices, solid understanding of networking concepts (troubleshooting, load balancing, firewalls), and familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk
