- • As a Benefit Operations Coordinator, your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of benefit administration. A core part of your role will involve **handling new business administration**. This includes meticulously setting up new employer schemes, efficiently facilitating the application processing stages between employers, employees, and insurance providers, and diligently updating our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other internal databases to ensure accuracy and seamless operations. Your attention to detail will be crucial in these initial setup phases, laying the groundwork for successful benefit provision.
- • You will also be a key driver in **process optimization and automation**. This involves actively mapping existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and then collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams to conceptualize and implement improvements. Your insights will directly contribute to streamlining operations, enhancing user experience, and scaling our capabilities as the company grows. This proactive approach to process enhancement is vital for maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring operational excellence.
- • A significant aspect of your work will be to **support scheme renewals**. You will work in close partnership with employers and insurance providers, acting as a central point of contact to ensure a smooth and timely renewal process. Furthermore, you will collaborate with our customer success teams to refine renewal procedures, gather feedback, and ultimately improve the overall customer experience during this critical period. Your efforts here will directly impact client retention and satisfaction.
- • You will **own policy event administration**, a critical function that ensures the accuracy and timeliness of benefit adjustments. This includes processing all policy changes, such as managing joiners, leavers, adding or removing dependents, handling cancellations, and processing amendments. This requires meticulous coordination across various internal teams and external providers to ensure all updates are reflected accurately and promptly, minimizing disruption for employees and employers.
- • Furthermore, you will **interact directly with customers as part of our support function**. You will serve as the first line of investigation for any benefit and policy-related queries, taking ownership of issue resolution from initial contact through to satisfactory conclusion. This involves liaising with insurers and providers on escalations, diligently tracking any recurring issues to identify systemic problems, and maintaining high-quality, comprehensive documentation of all interactions and resolutions. Your ability to communicate clearly and empathetically will be paramount in building trust and ensuring a positive customer experience.
