📋 Description

• Serve as a bilingual German and English content strategist on a 90-day contract to develop and localize marketing content for EMEA audiences.
• Cultivate relationships with EMEA-based Cohere leaders and subject matter experts to extract and amplify their perspectives through owned media channels.
• Translate and adapt North American thought leadership and research content for relevance and impact in the EMEA market, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
• Synthesize global AI research findings into compelling, data-led narratives that position Cohere as the sovereign AI leader in EMEA.
• Produce conversion-focused copywriting in German for digital marketing channels including email campaigns, social media ads, and connected TV (CTV) advertisements.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Content Strategy and a pod of content strategists and writers to align messaging across regional and global initiatives.
• Identify story opportunities within complex AI and enterprise technology topics and transform them into accessible, engaging content for non-technical audiences.
• Ensure all content adheres to Cohere’s brand voice and security-first enterprise positioning while meeting regional compliance and market expectations.
• Support the Growth Team with timely, high-impact German-language assets that drive lead generation and customer engagement.
• Maintain awareness of the AI regulatory landscape in EMEA to inform content strategy and avoid compliance risks.
• Deliver multimedia content formats including written articles, social posts, video scripts, and promotional materials tailored to EMEA platforms and audience preferences.
• Work flexibly across time zones to coordinate effectively with the North American Content Team operating in Eastern and Pacific Time Zones.
• Submit a recent digital portfolio demonstrating professional work in journalism, public relations, or technology marketing as a mandatory requirement for application.
• Apply critical thinking and editorial judgment to evaluate the strategic value, accuracy, and resonance of content before publication.
• Prioritize clarity and impact in all communications, ensuring complex AI concepts are communicated in ways that resonate with business decision-makers.
• Contribute to the broader mission of accelerating enterprise AI adoption through precise, authoritative, and locally relevant content.

🎯 Requirements

• Full Professional/Full Bilingual (C2 level) proficiency in both English and German
• Based in Europe (GMT+1 or GMT+2 time zones)
• 8+ years of professional experience in journalism, public relations, or technology marketing
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Proven experience producing multimedia stories for non-technical audiences in B2B, tech, or AI industries
• Flexibility to work across North American time zones (Eastern and Pacific)
