• • Flock Safety is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Billing Specialist, internally recognized as an Order Management Specialist, to join our dynamic Case Management department. This remote role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer billing processes and resolving any associated inquiries or escalations.
• • As a Billing Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both external customers and internal stakeholders, diligently addressing and resolving a wide range of billing operations case issues and escalations. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within your assigned segment will be crucial to your success.
• • A key responsibility will be the proactive management of your case queue, ensuring that all issues are resolved within established timelines. This requires excellent time management and prioritization skills to maintain a high level of service and efficiency.
• • You will be responsible for meticulously maintaining concise, complete, and accurate case notes and tags. This detailed record-keeping is essential for enabling management to generate insightful reports on team performance, identify trends, and track progress towards departmental objectives.
• • Performing detailed customer reconciliations and analyses will be a regular part of your role. This involves investigating and clarifying any perceived discrepancies in billing, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• • Cultivating and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, including Customer Success, Technical Support, and Sales, is paramount. These partnerships will streamline communication, facilitate quicker problem-solving, and contribute to a more cohesive customer experience.
• • You will be expected to escalate complex or unresolved internal and external inquiries through appropriate channels, including management meetings and direct email communication, to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements is highly valued. You will be encouraged to suggest enhancements to existing workflows, optimize operational efficiency, and maximize resource utilization to benefit the entire team and company.
• • In addition to core billing responsibilities, you will support the broader finance team by performing various duties as assigned. This may include tasks such as cash application, generating customer invoices, assisting with collections efforts, and contributing to Month-End Close (MEC) deliverables, providing a comprehensive understanding of the finance function.
