- • Bio Imaging Technician role at Iron Mountain’s Digital Solutions (Pathology) team, responsible for end-to-end digitization of glass slides to support critical diagnostic data management.
- • Day-to-day tasks include managing digitalization operations (slide scanning, prep, 100% QC), uploading images to JPIMS, maintaining tracking spreadsheets, and collaborating with pathologists to optimize workflows and improve procedural manuals.
- • Iron Mountain provides sustainable solutions in records management, digital transformation, data centers, asset lifecycle, and fine art storage, serving 225,000 global customers with a focus on innovation and social responsibility.
- • The role offers opportunities to develop expertise in pathology imaging, data systems, process improvement, and technical troubleshooting while contributing to vital healthcare data preservation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in laboratory settings or digital imaging, with histology or pathology background highly preferred.
- • Strong knowledge of digital scanning equipment, image QC protocols, and data management systems (e.g., JPIMS).
- • Ability to troubleshoot scanning equipment and manage shifting priorities, including equipment deployments and inventory diagnostics.
- • Associate Degree preferred (experience may substitute for degree).
- • Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Investigation clearance.
