- • Responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance on customers' basic biomedical equipment, driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.
- • Under supervision, evaluates basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implements appropriate repairs, and performs planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections as assigned.
- • Works as part of a local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned Middle TN/Nashville area, requiring onsite presence at customer locations.
- • Maintains daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to strong customer relations and ongoing satisfaction.
- • Documents all repair actions and submits reports/summaries according to schedule, ensuring proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, including calibration.
- • Enhances and maintains technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction.
- • Complies with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, and all applicable regulatory requirements, including Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety standards.
- • Participates in on-call rotation when trained, including after-hours, weekends, and critical issue coverage as needed.

🎯 Requirements
- • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship, Apprenticeship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 2 years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
- • Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
- • Willingness to be available after hours or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage as necessary.
- • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; GE HealthCare will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future.
- • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.
- • Specific vision abilities required, including color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
