ďż˝ Description
- • Architect, develop, and harden Solidity smart contracts that power Token Metrics’ next-generation privacy and scalability infrastructure for Ethereum and multi-chain ecosystems.
- • Own the full contract life-cycle—from ideation and technical design through gas-optimized implementation, comprehensive unit/integration testing, main-net deployment, and post-launch monitoring—ensuring 99.9 % uptime and sub-second event propagation.
- • Build secure cross-chain bridges, asset-migration modules, and ZK-friendly validation logic that allow users to move value privately between L1s and L2s while preserving auditability and compliance hooks for regulators and institutional clients.
- • Partner with product managers to translate complex economic models (staking, slashing, fee rebates, MEV protection) into immutable code, delivering clear technical specs, accurate story-point estimates, and sprint-level roadmaps that keep distributed teams aligned across time-zones.
- • Conduct rigorous internal audits and static analysis (Slither, MythX, Certora) before every external review; coordinate with world-class auditing firms, implement remediations, and publish transparent post-mortems that strengthen community trust.
- • Design upgradeable proxy patterns and governance modules that let Token Metrics iterate rapidly without compromising user custody or introducing upgrade veto-attacks; maintain detailed NatSpec documentation and ABI compatibility matrices for third-party integrators.
- • Optimize storage layouts and assembly hotspots to cut gas costs by double-digit percentages, saving users thousands of dollars daily while keeping contracts under the 24 KB deployment limit.
- • Instrument on-chain events and off-chain indexers (The Graph, Dune) to surface real-time risk metrics for the AI portfolio engine, enabling retail and institutional investors to rebalance dynamically.
- • Mentor junior engineers through pair-programming, code-review checklists, and security CTF sessions; champion Solidity best-practice playbooks that become company-wide standards.
- • Monitor chain reorganizations, flash-loan anomalies, and oracle deviations 24/7 via custom bots; execute emergency pause procedures and DAO proposals within minutes of threat detection.
- • Collaborate with DevOps to build deterministic CI/CD pipelines (Hardhat, Foundry, Tenderly forks) that run thousands of fuzz tests on every pull request, ensuring byte-for-byte reproducible builds.
- • Represent Token Metrics at virtual hackathons, AMAs, and EIP discussions, gathering developer feedback that feeds directly into the roadmap and reinforces our reputation as an innovation leader.
ďż˝ Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional software engineering or equivalent production-level blockchain/smart-contract development.
- • Expert-level Solidity (0.8.x) with deep knowledge of EVM internals, opcodes, precompiles, and gas optimization techniques.
- • Proven record of shipping audited, high-value contracts to Ethereum main-net or major L2s (TVL ≥ $10 M preferred).
- • Strong security mindset: familiar with re-entrancy, oracle manipulation, flash-loan attacks, and formal verification tools.
- • Hands-on experience with web3.js/ethers.js, Hardhat/Foundry, GitHub Actions, and multisig/DAO governance frameworks.
️ Benefits
- • Fully remote, asynchronous culture—work from anywhere outside the U.S. with flexible hours and results-only performance metrics.
- • Competitive token-weighted compensation package plus performance bonuses tied to protocol revenue and TVL growth.
- • $2,000 annual learning stipend for conferences, certifications, and advanced cryptography courses.
- • Home-office setup grant (top-spec laptop, 4K monitor, ergonomic chair) and monthly co-working space allowance.
- • Unlimited PTO, five-day year-end shutdown, and paid travel to quarterly team retreats in crypto-friendly destinations.
