- • As GPTZero's first in-house creative hire on the paid side, you will own the full creative loop from concept to brief to finished asset, using test results to make the next batch smarter and contributing to brand design and content imagery that keeps GPTZero's visual identity cohesive across channels.
- • You will research competitors, social feeds, and emerging ad formats to generate creative hypotheses, write hypothesis-driven creative briefs, design 100 to 150 static ad concepts per week in Canva or Figma for Meta, incorporate real product imagery, synthesize performance data to improve future cycles, support brand design and blog post imagery, and own the creative strategy layer by building a repeatable system for ideation, production, and iteration.
- • You will join a team from high-performing engineering cultures at Meta, Perplexity, AWS, Affirm, and leading AI research labs including Princeton, Caltech, and Vector Institute, working directly with the growth team and reporting into paid acquisition in a remote role requiring 8 hours of overlap with Eastern Time.
- • You will develop expertise in performance marketing creative, data-driven design iteration, and scalable creative systems while contributing to a mission-driven company restoring trust and transparency on the internet through AI detection.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years in performance marketing on the creative side with experience making ads that shipped and understanding their performance impact
- • Strong copywriting instincts with understanding of the psychology behind why people click and ability to write persuasive, non-formulaic copy
- • Fast and confident in Canva and/or Figma, capable of producing 100 to 150 polished static ad concepts per week without bottlenecking
- • Hyperactive social media user who naturally absorbs what's performing on platforms like Instagram and TikTok
- • Native-level English proficiency for writing copy targeting US audiences including teachers, institutions, and enterprise buyers
- • Startup-comfortable mindset: energized by autonomy, unbothered by ambiguity, and preferring to move and adjust rather than wait for perfect briefs
