- • Be the critical bridge between program teams and IT at CLEAResult, the largest energy-efficiency solutions provider in North America. As our Business Analyst you will translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and ensure every workflow—from rebate processing to customer engagement—runs without friction.
- • Own the full project life-cycle: from initial requirements workshops and data-dictionary creation through UAT, launch, and post-deployment optimization. You’ll shepherd multiple concurrent projects across utilities, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities, always keeping sustainability and customer experience front-of-center.
- • Lead deep-dive analytics on program and industry data to model portfolio performance, forecast savings, and uncover new revenue or efficiency opportunities. Your insights will directly influence multi-million-dollar business proposals and continuous-improvement roadmaps.
- • Facilitate dynamic working sessions with internal stakeholders (program managers, engineers, finance) and external partners (utility clients, trade allies, regulators). You’ll translate regulatory language, rebate rules, and customer pain points into crisp user stories and acceptance criteria.
- • Drive rigorous user-acceptance testing for new Salesforce enhancements, custom portals, and data-warehouse integrations. You’ll author test scripts, coordinate cross-functional testers, and sign off only when functionality meets both technical specs and real-world usability.
- • Manage program data integrity end-to-end: design reconciliation routines, perform variance analysis, and automate exception reporting. Your dashboards will become the single source of truth for client deliverables and executive KPI reviews.
- • Track project timelines, budgets, and risk registers; communicate status succinctly to directors and VPs. When scope creep or technical hurdles appear, you’ll present data-backed options and recommended mitigations within 24 hours.
- • Champion process-improvement sprints—lean Kaizen events, Salesforce flow optimizations, Excel-to-Power-BI migrations—delivering measurable reductions in cycle time and manual effort.
- • Serve as a regional analytics mentor: create training materials, run lunch-and-learns, and review peer work products to elevate overall data literacy across the Michigan and Central regions.
- • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where priorities can shift with regulatory changes or emergency grid events. Your calm, data-first approach keeps teams focused and clients confident.
- • Contribute to CLEAResult’s mission of making energy efficiency the first fuel of choice, helping utilities avoid 3.5 GW of peak load and saving end-users over $1 billion annually.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 4 years in a dedicated Analyst or Business Analyst capacity
- • 2+ years performing advanced data analysis with large, complex data sets
- • 1+ years building and automating reports within Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Energy Efficiency custom objects)
- • Demonstrated experience in the energy-efficiency, utility, or demand-side management sector
- • Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP, Power Query, pivot-table automation, and VBA/macros for data transformation
- • Nice-to-have: Salesforce Admin or Advanced Admin certification; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Python for additional analytics layers
