- • Are you a driven, sales-minded individual with a passion for identifying opportunities and building relationships? Kernel Medical Devices, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team in London. This is a pivotal role within our outbound sales motion, directly contributing to Kernel's rapid growth and success. As a BDR, you will be at the forefront of our go-to-market strategy, responsible for generating qualified pipeline by meticulously researching, prospecting, and engaging with key decision-makers at high-fit companies.
- • Kernel is revolutionizing enterprise RevOps with agentic company data for CRMs. We've secured $14M in Series A funding from prominent VCs and industry leaders, positioning ourselves as the AI-native alternative to traditional entity and hierarchy data providers. Companies like Navan, Gong, Mistral, and AlphaSense rely on Kernel to ensure the integrity of their CRM data, eliminating duplicates and broken hierarchies without excessive manual effort. This leads to defensible territories, enhanced credibility with sales and leadership, and the successful deployment of AI initiatives powered by trustworthy data. Our platform combines sophisticated entity-level intelligence with powerful mass-action tools, empowering RevOps teams with the data quality and control necessary for confident planning and successful AI integration.
- • In this high-impact, high-visibility role, you will own a book of pre-tiered accounts, leveraging Kernel's proprietary data-driven insights to craft hyper-targeted outreach campaigns. Your primary communication channel will be phone calls, supplemented by LinkedIn direct messages and other strategic outreach methods. We encourage you to think creatively and explore innovative outbound strategies, including participating in or organizing events and implementing novel prospecting techniques. You will work in close collaboration with our Marketing and Account Executive (AE) teams, ensuring a seamless flow of information and a unified approach to customer engagement.
- • Your core responsibilities will include identifying and researching companies and decision-makers that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), utilizing Kernel's advanced data capabilities. You will meticulously build and maintain an updated target list, ensuring clear qualification criteria are met for each prospect. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to executing a phone-driven cadence, which includes strategic cold calls and voicemails, aimed at generating qualified meetings. You will adopt a strategic perspective for each account, employing multi-threading techniques to secure meetings with key stakeholders.
- • Beyond phone outreach, you will integrate LinkedIn, email, and other multi-touch cadences to maximize engagement and conversion rates. Upon booking qualified meetings for AEs, you will provide comprehensive and detailed call notes, ensuring a smooth handover and setting the AE up for success. Your collaboration extends to the Marketing team, where you will share valuable feedback on ICPs and messaging, helping to refine our go-to-market strategy. Continuous learning and iteration are key; you will analyze your performance metrics to refine messaging and cadences, and actively share field feedback to inform product development and overall GTM strategy. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and are eager to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing startup.
- • We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to work in sales and have a track record of excellence in their previous endeavors, even if they lack traditional sales experience. A research-oriented mindset, a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile are essential. If you are competitive, target-driven, and excited by the prospect of shaping the future of enterprise data solutions, this is the opportunity for you. This role requires a commitment of at least 4 days a week in our central London office, and is not suitable for those who prefer remote work or are easily deterred by the intensity of an early-stage go-to-market environment. We are building something special at Kernel, and we are looking for individuals who are ready to embark on this thrilling journey with us.
