- • Architect, design, and maintain enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions using Power BI to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- • Own the end-to-end development of internal datasets, including data ingestion from MySQL, BigQuery, ClickHouse, and Salesforce into centralized data models.
- • Design and manage the semantic layer that bridges raw source data with Power BI visualizations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
- • Build automated, reliable, and interactive reporting dashboards that deliver actionable insights to executive and operational teams.
- • Manage user access, permissions, and consumption of Power BI reports across departments to ensure secure and appropriate data visibility.
- • Develop and optimize DAX calculations to resolve complex business logic, hierarchy issues, and data model loops.
- • Review and refine data models, KPIs, and visualizations to align with business objectives and improve usability for non-technical users.
- • Enable self-service analytics by maturing the BI architecture to allow business users to create their own reports without compromising data integrity.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, operations, and IT teams to understand reporting needs and translate business processes into data solutions.
- • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, environment issues, and operational failures in Power BI reports to ensure high availability and reliability.
- • Implement enterprise best practices in data ingestion, metadata management, data governance, and compliance workflows.
- • Maintain and enhance ETL pipelines that transform and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses for reporting.
- • Apply dimensional data modeling and tabular data modeling techniques to structure data for optimal analytical performance.
- • Utilize Power Query (M Language) to clean, transform, and integrate data from disparate systems into unified datasets.
- • Work closely with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, validate results, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- • Monitor and improve data quality, consistency, and governance across all BI assets to ensure trust and accuracy in reporting.
- • Document data models, ETL processes, and reporting standards to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
- • Stay current with evolving Power BI features, data architecture trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve the BI ecosystem.
