📋 Description

  • • FluidStack Inc. is at the forefront of building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence, partnering with leading AI labs, governments, and enterprises to accelerate the realization of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). As we experience rapid growth, driven by the increasing demands of world-class AI organizations, we recognize the critical need for commensurate operational excellence. This is where the Business Process Controls Lead role becomes pivotal. You will be instrumental in ensuring our business operations are robust, efficient, and scalable, matching our technical ambition.
  • • This high-impact, highly visible position is designed for an individual who thrives at the dynamic intersection of strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will take ownership of the entire lifecycle of our core business processes, from their initial design and meticulous implementation to their ongoing refinement and optimization. Your mandate will span a wide array of critical business functions, including but not limited to customer onboarding, vendor operations, intricate internal workflows, and seamless cross-functional coordination.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves deep collaboration with various departments, including Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations. By working closely with these teams, you will identify and systematically eliminate operational friction points, champion initiatives to drive significant efficiency gains, and architect the scalable systems that are essential for FluidStack’s sustained growth without compromising integrity or performance.
  • • Your responsibilities will include mapping current state processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing future state processes that are streamlined, effective, and aligned with our strategic objectives. This will involve developing clear process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and control frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • • You will be tasked with developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes. This data-driven approach will enable you to diagnose process inefficiencies, quantify their impact, and track the success of implemented improvements. Your ability to leverage data to inform decision-making will be crucial in optimizing our operational landscape.
  • • Leading cross-functional initiatives will be a core component of your role. You will be responsible for guiding teams through process change, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders at all levels, and managing the successful execution of projects aimed at enhancing operational performance. This requires strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • • You will also play a key role in establishing and maintaining a strong internal control environment. This includes understanding regulatory requirements, identifying key risks within business processes, and implementing controls to mitigate those risks, ensuring compliance and safeguarding company assets.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business process management principles and best practices. You will be expected to stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in process automation and optimization, and to proactively recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the operational backbone of a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company. You will have the autonomy to define and refine processes, the challenge of solving complex operational problems, and the satisfaction of contributing directly to FluidStack's mission of accelerating the future of intelligence. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve our high-profile clients and achieve our ambitious growth targets.
