- • Develops and implements strategic customer-specific business process program plans aligned with enterprise strategy and influencing relevant roadmaps.
- • Applies expert knowledge of retail banking to lead alignment and development of business deliverable processes and capabilities that materially improve business performance.
- • Serves as a functional expert, bringing diverse perspectives to design end-user focused process solutions.
- • Manages process performance by establishing control limits, monitoring key performance indicators, and informing stakeholders of deficiencies, risks, or improvement opportunities.
- • Identifies, owns, executes, enhances, and aligns controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks associated with owned processes.
- • Develops and executes communication plans for customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- • Ensures alignment between internal stakeholders and customers across all business process projects using proactive engagement and communication strategies.
- • Utilizes reporting, data, and analytics to measure process and project performance, drive operational efficiencies, and inform decision-making.
- • Stays current with emerging technologies and evaluates business processes to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- • Leads solution development including business case creation, benefits substantiation, and drives business requirements for process improvement initiatives.
- • Provides mentorship and guidance to team members and business partners.
- • Delivers business performance intelligence to support planning, research, analysis, development, and implementation of new or modified applications and processes.
- • Ensures risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with USAA’s risk and compliance policies.
- • Maintains compliance with federal laws, rules, and regulations including TILA/REG Z, REG E, REG F, REG B, REG CC, UDAAP/UDAP, FCRA, BSA/AML, SCRA/MLA, and OCC Heightened Standards.
- • Applies hands-on experience with process mapping, modeling, and creating/validating process documentation.
- • Implements and sustains change and improvement initiatives as a change champion.
- • Uses process management standards, policies, and methodologies such as Lean and Business Process Management (BPM).
- • Collects and analyzes data using various systems to support process optimization and decision-making.
- • This position is designated as a Sensitive Position, requiring 10 consecutive business days of Mandatory Time-Away each calendar year.
- • The role requires in-office presence 4 days per week and is based in San Antonio, TX; Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Charlotte, NC; or Tampa, FL.
- • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- • 6 years of business process execution, knowledge, experience, consulting, and/or process engineering/optimization
- • Hands-on experience with process mapping and modeling and creating/validating process documentation
- • Demonstrated experience with Lean, Business Process Management, or similar methodology
- • Knowledge of federal laws, rules, regulations, and applicable guidance including TILA/REG Z, REG E, REG F, REG B, REG CC, UDAAP/UDAP, FCRA, BSA/AML, SCRA/MLA, OCC Heightened Standards
- • Experience in implementing and sustaining change/improvements as a change champion
