- • As a Business Rules Analyst Senior at USAA, you will play a critical role in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks tied to business activities while ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and industry best practices. Your work directly supports USAA’s mission to empower military members and their families with financial security by maintaining the integrity and reliability of systems that drive product development, service delivery, and operational excellence.
- • Day to day, you will lead teams in project and system change management, analyze business requirements in collaboration with LOBs, vendors, and internal stakeholders, and develop actionable business rules from analytical insights to support product development and maintenance. You will oversee change control processes, review post-implementation documentation for lessons learned, recommend process improvements, and provide subject matter expertise on strategic and tactical solutions to prevent system outages or production issues.
- • You will also guide staff workflow and workload scheduling, present recommendations to management, and execute required actions to resolve or prevent operational disruptions. Your expertise in Oracle Hyperion suite, Cognos, Unix scripting, and related technologies will be essential in ensuring financial data quality, performance reporting, and enterprise planning systems operate efficiently and securely.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Studies, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in business rules analysis, system change management, or a related occupation.
- • Master’s degree in Information Management, Information Studies, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- • Proven expertise in Oracle Hyperion Cloud suite including EPBCS, EDMCS, EPRCS, HFM, HP, DRM, FDQM, HFR, Oracle SmartView, Essbase, and Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
- • Proficiency with Cognos Reporting Tool and Unix scripting for data extraction, transformation, and automation tasks.
- • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in project management, system change management, business analysis, and product development lifecycle coordination.
- • Experience analyzing business risks, defining requirements with LOBs and vendors, and recommending process improvements based on post-implementation insights.
