📋 Description

• The CAD Designer (Telecom) role at Distro, Inc. is critical to the successful planning and execution of telecommunications construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals that drive project viability and profitability.
• Day to day, the person will analyze telecom infrastructure project documentation such as construction drawings, fiber network designs, and technical specifications; prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services; develop and submit competitive bid proposals; evaluate project scope, timelines, and resource requirements; and collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to align estimates with cost efficiency and profitability goals.
• Distro, Inc. is a company focused on telecommunications infrastructure projects, operating in a fast-paced, project-based environment where precision and cross-functional collaboration are essential to delivering fiber optic and outside plant (OSP) deployments.
• In this role, the person can develop deep expertise in telecom cost estimation, enhance technical interpretation skills for fiber and OSP designs, strengthen analytical and problem-solving abilities, and grow their impact by contributing directly to project profitability and successful infrastructure rollouts.
