📋 Description

• Join Qodeworld as a Camunda | Java Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workflow orchestration capabilities. This hybrid role, based in Fort Mill, SC, or New Jersey, offers the exciting opportunity to blend on-site collaboration with remote flexibility, requiring three days a week in the office. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated workflow solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across our organization.
• As a key member of our technology team, you will leverage your deep expertise in Camunda and Java to architect and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance workflow orchestration platforms. Your work will directly impact the seamless execution of critical business processes, ensuring agility and responsiveness in a dynamic market.
• You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our Camunda-based solutions, from initial concept and design through to implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization. This includes defining the architectural vision, establishing best practices, and guiding development teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex workflow projects.
• A significant aspect of this role involves architecting and implementing our Camunda-based workflow orchestration platform, which currently manages millions of process instances monthly. You will be at the forefront of ensuring this platform remains scalable, reliable, and capable of handling our growing business needs.
• You will design and develop microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Kafka, focusing on seamless process integration and enabling event-driven orchestration. This will involve creating resilient and decoupled services that communicate effectively to manage complex business workflows.
• A core responsibility will be defining and refining Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Decision Model and Notation (DMN) models for key business processes. This includes areas such as loan approvals, claims processing, and customer onboarding, ensuring that these models accurately reflect business logic and are optimized for execution within the Camunda engine.
• You will integrate Camunda with a variety of external systems, including external APIs, legacy systems, and modern cloud-native services. This integration will be achieved using robust communication protocols such as REST and messaging queues, ensuring data consistency and process continuity across disparate systems.
• You will act as a technical leader and mentor for a team of developers, imparting your knowledge of Camunda best practices, effective process versioning strategies, and performance tuning techniques. Your guidance will empower the team to build and maintain high-quality workflow solutions.
• You will implement and utilize Camunda Optimize dashboards to provide critical insights into process performance. This involves defining and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks, measure efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process automation and optimization, utilizing the full capabilities of the Camunda platform to deliver tangible business value.
• You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Contribute to the evolution of our technology stack, evaluating and recommending new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance our workflow orchestration capabilities.
• Ensure the security, compliance, and maintainability of all developed workflow solutions, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
• Drive innovation by exploring advanced Camunda features and related technologies to solve challenging business problems and create competitive advantages.
• You will be a champion for best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the delivery of robust and high-quality software.
