- • The Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional role at Pfizer is critical role focused on increasing territory sales and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts by engaging in product promotion and determining the best strategies and building strong customer relationships in the cardiovascular therapeutic area, directly supporting Pfizer’s mission to deliver breakthrough therapies for patients with NVAF or VTE.
- • Day to day, the specialist drives sales in an assigned territory, engages with healthcare providers both face-to-face and virtually, develops and implements business and territory call plans, builds rapport using digital tools, leverages internal analytics to identify strategic opportunities, educates providers on product value propositions using approved disease state information, collaborates cross-functionally to address customer needs, and completes all administrative tasks compliantly and on time.
- • The role sits within Pfizer’s Internal Medicine Cardiology (CARD) Team, a global leader in cardiovascular disease innovation, where colleagues are part of an ownership culture that values diversity, encourages growth, and empowers individuals to impact the health and lives of millions through science-driven, customer-oriented work.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in cardiovascular therapeutics, refine advanced sales and engagement strategies in both physical and virtual environments, master compliance-driven communication, strengthen cross-functional collaboration skills, and gain experience using digital tools to drive business impact—positioning them for long-term growth within Pfizer’s commercial or medical affairs pathways.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, small business ownership, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT), education, or full-time military experience; OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; OR high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience
- • Valid US driver’s license with a driving record compliant with company standards (no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citations in the past 7 years)
- • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the assigned territory (Lynchburg, Danville, South Boston, Martinsville)
