  • • Serve as a subject matter expert and team lead within the Case Management department, providing guidance and direction to team members on daily operations and complex case resolutions.
  • • Mentor and coach team members to improve performance, ensure adherence to compliance standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • • Resolve complex customer cases involving policy administration, underwriting discrepancies, claims processing, and benefit interpretations with accuracy and timeliness.
  • • Partner with leadership to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
  • • Monitor team metrics and case resolution timelines to ensure service level agreements are met and quality benchmarks are maintained.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, compliance, and technology teams to resolve systemic issues and streamline case handling workflows.
  • • Review and validate case documentation to ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • • Lead team meetings and case reviews to share best practices, address recurring challenges, and reinforce standard operating procedures.
  • • Act as a primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and internal stakeholder requests related to case management processes.
  • • Contribute to the development and updating of training materials, knowledge bases, and procedural documentation to support team onboarding and ongoing education.
  • • Proactively identify trends in case types or resolution delays and recommend actionable solutions to reduce backlog and improve turnaround times.
  • • Ensure all team activities comply with federal and state insurance regulations, company policies, and internal audit requirements.
  • • Support the onboarding and performance evaluation of new team members by providing structured feedback and performance coaching.
  • • Maintain a high standard of customer service by ensuring all interactions are professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented.
  • • Participate in departmental initiatives aimed at digital transformation, automation, and technology adoption to modernize case management workflows.
  • • Document and report key performance indicators, operational bottlenecks, and improvement outcomes to senior leadership on a regular basis.

  • • Proven experience in case management within the life insurance or financial services industry
  • • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of case management professionals
  • • Strong understanding of life insurance policies, underwriting, and claims processes
  • • Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex customer and operational issues
  • • Experience driving process improvements and implementing workflow optimizations
  • • Proficiency in case management systems and CRM platforms used in insurance operations
