- • As a Case Worker, you will be instrumental in managing assigned projects and/or cases, ensuring strict adherence to general company processes and protocols to deliver exceptional service.
- • You will be responsible for implementing and managing call-centre programs, providing crucial telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies.
- • This support includes addressing complex funding and access issues, navigating private, public, and special access programs, and managing compliance initiatives.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve administering and meticulously adhering to case-management protocols.
- • This includes detailed clinical monitoring, accurate data collection, consistent on-going patient follow-up, ensuring compliance with program guidelines, monitoring therapy disruption or discontinuation, timely adverse event reporting, and effective liaison with primary healthcare providers.
- • You will also be involved in implementing pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research initiatives, engaging with physicians, patients, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals.
- • All patient programs are fundamentally based on casework methods, requiring a significant volume of outbound calls to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- • A key responsibility is the accurate and timely documentation of every activity within program-specific databases, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- • You will be expected to actively participate in and attend ongoing refresher training sessions and specialized training courses tailored to specific products or programs, as directed by your manager, to maintain and enhance your expertise.
- • Providing constructive feedback regarding current protocols, database functionality, operational processes, and inter-departmental relationships is vital for continuous improvement.
- • Proactive communication with your manager, pod, and program-trained colleagues regarding the management of cases during foreseen absences is essential for seamless operations.
- • In collaboration with managers, you will participate in the training process of new caseworkers, which may include shadowing and call monitoring, contributing to team development.
- • You are responsible for promptly reporting all Adverse Events to the assigned units or departments, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
- • The Caseworker role is dynamic, and you will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute across various operational needs.
