Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Drive breakthrough sales growth for Alcon’s flagship cataract surgical portfolio across Indiana, owning a multi-million-dollar territory that spans LenSx femtosecond laser systems, ORA intra-operative aberrometry, Argos biometers, Revalia microscopes, Advanced Technology IOLs, and the Digital Health Suite. You will translate clinical evidence into compelling value stories that convert competitive accounts and expand utilization in existing high-volume centers.
  • • Build and execute a data-driven strategic plan that pinpoints the top 20% of surgeons and ASCs capable of generating 80% of territory revenue. Map buying committees, uncover capital-cycle timing, and align clinical, technical, and financial stakeholders to secure POs and long-term contracts.
  • • Orchestrate cross-functional resources—Clinical Application Specialists, Service Engineers, Finance, Marketing, and KOL faculty—to ensure every installed system achieves rapid adoption, superior clinical outcomes, and measurable ROI. You will chair quarterly business reviews with each key account, presenting utilization dashboards and co-developing growth roadmaps.
  • • Convert large-volume competitive accounts by leveraging head-to-head clinical data, peer-to-peer testimonials, and creative financing solutions. You will negotiate multi-year agreements that lock in price stability and technology refresh cycles, protecting Alcon’s market share against aggressive rivals.
  • • Champion the patient-outcome narrative in every interaction, demonstrating how Alcon’s integrated ecosystem reduces surgical variability, enhances refractive accuracy, and elevates patient satisfaction scores. You will film case studies with early adopters and disseminate best-practice videos across the region.
  • • Host and execute 40+ educational events annually—wet labs, grand rounds, dinner symposia, and virtual webinars—keeping surgeons, administrators, and OR staff current on the latest software releases, clinical pearls, and reimbursement trends. You will manage budgets, faculty contracts, and post-event ROI analyses.
  • • Maintain a real-time CRM database logging every touchpoint, competitive intelligence nugget, and pipeline opportunity. You will forecast quarterly revenue within 5% accuracy and provide voice-of-customer insights that shape next-gen product roadmaps.
  • • Serve as the territory’s compliance guardian, ensuring all promotional activities adhere to FDA, AdvaMed, and Alcon policies. You will complete required certifications on time and mentor new associates on ethical selling standards.
  • • Collaborate with the Regional Director and Division Manager to pilot new sales plays, beta-test digital marketing campaigns, and share replicable success stories across the Midwest region. Your feedback will directly influence corporate strategy and resource allocation.
  • • Thrive in a remote-first culture that prizes autonomy, agility, and data-backed decisions. You will manage your calendar to maximize face-time with high-value customers while leveraging virtual tools to maintain momentum between visits.
